About Advocates of Hope
Prepared for the hearing. Focused on the details.
Advocates of Hope is a Social Security disability advocacy practice built on more than 25 years of hearing-level experience. We partner with disability firms that need a trusted contracted representative — and we stand alongside individual claimants who need a dedicated advocate at their ALJ hearing.
Who we are
Advocates of Hope was founded on a simple belief: that every disability claim represents a real person facing difficult circumstances, and that person deserves thorough, compassionate, and professionally prepared representation at the hearing level.
We bring that same standard of care to the disability firms and organizations we contract with — delivering experienced hearing representation, careful case preparation, and clear communication so your clients are ready when it matters most.
“Prepared for the hearing. Focused on the details.”
What We Do
Two ways we serve the disability community
Contracted Hearing Representation
We partner with disability advocacy companies, firms, and organizations that need experienced representatives to handle Social Security disability hearings. Services include comprehensive file reviews, medical evidence analysis, pre-hearing briefs, claimant preparation, hearing appearances, and post-hearing reporting — all on a flat-fee basis.

Meet Our Founder
Hope Carter
Hope Carter is an Eligible for Direct Pay Non-Attorney (EDPNA) representative with more than 25 years of experience representing individuals in Social Security disability matters, including hearings before Administrative Law Judges. Over the course of her career, she has developed deep familiarity with the ALJ hearing process, vocational and medical evidence standards, and the full range of issues that arise in disability claims at the hearing level.
Hope founded Advocates of Hope to extend her expertise in two directions: providing contracted hearing representation to disability firms that need a reliable, experienced advocate — and offering direct representation to individual claimants who need a knowledgeable voice at their ALJ hearing. Her approach combines careful preparation, attention to detail, and genuine compassion for the people behind every case.
Hope is not an attorney. As an EDPNA, she is authorized to represent claimants before the Social Security Administration and to receive direct payment of fees from SSA upon approval.
Our Approach
Experience, preparation, and care — in every case
Thorough preparation
We review the full record, identify strengths and gaps, and prepare every case as if the hearing outcome depends on it — because it does.
Clear communication
Firms and claimants alike deserve to know where their case stands. We keep every engagement transparent and responsive from start to finish.
Genuine compassion
We recognize that every disability claim represents a real person facing difficult circumstances. That reality shapes how we approach every file we touch.
Focused expertise
We work exclusively at the Social Security disability hearing level. That focus means deeper experience and sharper preparation for every case.
Advocates of Hope is not a law firm. Hope Carter is an Eligible for Direct Pay Non-Attorney (EDPNA) authorized to represent claimants before the Social Security Administration. Representation and services are subject to acceptance and written engagement terms. Nothing on this site constitutes a guarantee of any particular outcome.
